This week we celebrate our new Children's Ministry Director, Michelle Mileham!
Michelle grew up knowing God had a purpose for her and would use her for His glory. She is thrilled to be serving our Lord through children’s ministry at KCC! She sees each child as a future adult in the church, which drives her passion to train up children, families, and leaders to not only love God but to also love serving God and know how to be part of the church. She moved to O’ahu in 2021 with her husband, John, and her children, Audrey, Scarlett, and Wesley, and absolutely loves living on this beautiful island. They have been a proud Navy family for more than 20 years, which has allowed them to be part of wonderful churches all over the country. Michelle has served in children’s ministry positions at every church they have attended, including Sunday school teacher, Sunday school director, children’s ministry director, Awana leader, and Awana ministry director. She and her husband were also foster parents for five years, and learned a great deal about children while going through that training, which has helped her in ministry. She loves children!
In her spare time she enjoys playing board games with family and friends, exploring the island, and baking pies.
Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
