This week we celebrate new life in Christ!
This Easter was a beautiful opportunity to honor our risen Lord and proclaim our commitment to Him! We heard a moving sermon from Pastor Jacob and witnessed 39 baptisms after the sunrise service. The celebration continued with brunch, two services led by Pastor Perry back at KCC, and special festivities for the keiki in Sunday School. We pray that, among the excitement and power of the weekend, you were able to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for you and feel God's love through that. "And the testimony is this," the apostle John tells us, "that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son." (1 John 5:11) He is risen! He is risen, indeed!
...baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.
1 Peter 3:21,22
