As you watch the above video of Pastor Chris praying over the children at Living Hope Christian School in Uganda, feel like you're part of their birthday celebration! These children, 295 of them who are part of Pastor Chris's school, are supported by donations from us here at Kailua Community Church. Those donations stretch to cover not only teacher salaries that give gainful employment to men and women who are now supporting their families, essential building projects that contribute to the safety and good hygiene of the students and staff at the school and church, and school costs like materials and uniforms for the students, but also medical care, food, and emotional support (like this birthday celebration) that shows the students they are valuable to God and His people.
