Missions Moment with Ben Tritt

Mission trips to Uganda have nearly universal impacts. A comprehensive list would be much more than a few paragraphs. Some impacts that are common include learning of a much bigger world, experiencing Gods provisions and protections, and appreciation for the blessings of home.

Aspects of each mission trip to Uganda are unique to each person. My first trip was just exposure to a bigger world and learning how God provides protection against spiritual and physical dangers. My second trip was seeing how God providentially puts the right people in the right places at the right times. Each member of the team is there for a reason. This trip showed me how God can give you strength to overcome difficult circumstances; circumstances that if I was only trusting in and relying on my own power, I certainly would not have been successful in carrying out God's work!

As you can see from the photo, fully immersing ourselves in the lives of our new and old Ugandan friends is what really makes the difference, helps us grow closer to each other, closer to God, and creates the memories that mean the most. Ultimately, although I know our intention is always to bless those we meet in Uganda, the reality is that we are equally or more blessed in the process!

If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
