Missions Moment With Joelle Coon
While in Uganda there was so much that impacted me! The trip was truly incredible and God was abundant throughout it all. One of the best parts was getting to love these children and getting to know them. On one of the days this little girl in the picture turned to me and said, “So, one day we’ll be in Heaven with you too?” And that was one of the best moments that whole week. Knowing we’ll get to see them again someday, whether I get the opportunity to go back or not, gives me so much hope and joy. These kids taught me so much about my own faith and to truly have Joy in Christ and who He is. Another favorite moment was how they greeted us, they all ran out and greeted us with hugs and shakas and would be so excited to see us. I am so blessed to have gotten to meet these kids and all the people we met in Uganda who showed us such kindness and love—a selfless love that serves one another and comes from Christ.
